16th to 18th of June saw the full group camp at Hesley Wood Scout Camp Sheffield, for our yearly summer camp. This being our 90th Birthday Year we felt that we should look at people that help us and tghroughout the weekend our young people undertook activities on this theme. We had visits from the RNLI and South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service. Lowland Rescue also came but had to leave immediatly on a call out bet we thank them for atempting to come.

Other bases included First aid and the Ambulance Service, Police fingerprinting. The Beavers and Cubs also took the oppotunity to take to the water hand had a great time completing a number of tasks afloat.

We have to say well done to Bagheera aka Lesley Metcalfe who completed her nights away qualification on this camp. Merlin our Group Lead Volunteer also was asked to appear on BBC Radio Sheffield live from camp to promote not only the group but also our home village of Monk Bretton so it was a very unusual and interesting camp for all.
