Sunday 21st April saw the group attend St Pauls Parish Church Monk Bretton for our Annual St Georges Day Service whare we had an alternative (Yorkshire) version of the Story of St George by Fr Joseph and an explaination of the tree of Scouting. This was followed by the group parading down Long Causeway and up the Rotherham Rd Service Rd to the centre for tea, pop and biscuits, and a viewing of the group archive. An excellent afternoon was had by all.
The Group would like to thank Cannon Darren and Fr Joseph and St Pauls for the service, Mr Paul Watson for his assistance on the drums and 148 Barnsley Squadron Air Training Corps for the loan of the drums for the parade.
