13-15th October 2023 saw our Scout Section on Autumn / Winter Camp at Silverwood Scout Camp Barnsley. This was the first of a set of section camps to celebrate both the groups 90th Birthday and Silverwoods 75th Birthday. The section completed a variety of tasks and activities including cleaning up the site chapel ready for the season of Remembrance for both Scouting and Barnsley Pals / Yorkshire Lancashire Regiment who trained at the site prior to world war one.
