As we get ready to attend the Village Remembrance Event here is something that makes it very personal to the group.
This picture shows members of our group in its previous incarnation as 39th Monk Bretton Scouts that were in the Armed Forces November 1939.
These pages were found in a logbook compiled by leaders and scouts in the group at the time. This logbook survived the arson attack in the early 90’s and is a great record of activites and events in that period of time.
This year We Will Remember Them as well as all others lost in war and conflict since the first world war.
